Policies and Procedures: Television Coverage *

Charlotte Center City Partners does not have control over the televising of the Parade and cannot be held responsible in any way if a participating unit does not appear on television, or a unit's name is not mentioned, or if for any reason a unit does not receive any publicity as a result. Similarly, it is understood that, as the Parade is a "live to tape" broadcast, circumstances could ensue which could prevent WBTV from televising all or part of a unit's performance, and, thus cannot hold WBTV or Charlotte Center City Partners responsible in any way if a participating unit does not appear on television, or a unit's name is not mentioned, or if for any reason a unit does not receive any publicity as a result.

Parade Policies and Procedures: Photographic Release *

I give permission to Charlotte Center City Partners, CCCP Community Trust, the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade and program sponsors and media to use moving and still images taken of my unit for use in printed or electronic form. This includes, but is not limited to, printed materials, internet and website photographs or streaming video, electronic newsletters, video and broadcast, satellite or cable television programs. This usage will be for non-profit, informational programming, marketing, and media materials by Charlotte Center City Partners and CCCP Community Trust. Any other use of my name, my unit's name, or likeness by Charlotte Center City Partners, CCCP Community Trust, or program sponsors is outside of this agreement. This agreement is effective upon acceptance on this page. I am at least 18 years of age and have permission to accept on behalf of myself and all members of my group.

Policies and Procedures: Maintaining Forward Progress *

All units must maintain forward progress throughout the parade. The decision to start or stop is solely at the discretion of parade marshals, not the units themselves. Should a halt in movement be necessary in order to accommodate television performances in the Grandstand area, parade marshals assigned to each unit will give direction regarding starting and stopping. Units the do not follow direction will not be invited to participate in future parades.

1. Please be cooperative and understanding of Parade Coordinators and Committee as our team is comprised of many volunteers. 2. Parade Marshals will be posted along the parade route to help maintain pace. For the safety of your unit, other units, and onlookers, you must heed to their advice and requests. 3. Support vehicles will not be permitted to park in staging area unless otherwise told so. Unloading is limited to 10 minutes. Parking for support vehicles will be the responsibility of the unit. 4. The display of any potentially offensive items is not permitted in the parade progression. Charlotte Center City Partners reserves the right to request the removal of such items without explanation. 5. Throwing candy or objects from moving vehicles or walking along the parade route is prohibited. ONLY walking participants may hand out candy.

To the full extent allowed by law, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Charlotte Center City Partners, CCCP Community Trust, and all parade sponsors from all damages, losses, or expenses, including attorney fees, any claims or damages for bodily injury, sickness, disease, or death, or claims for damage to any property, in each case, that arise from any negligent or wrongful act or omission by me, my agents, employees, or subcontractors.
To the full extent allowed by law, I agree to hold harmless and indemnify Charlotte Center City Partners, CCCP Community Trust, and all parade sponsors from all damages, losses, or expenses, including attorney fees, any claims or damages for bodily injury, sickness, disease, or death, or claims for damage to any property, in each case, that arise from any negligent or wrongful act or omission by me, my agents, employees, or subcontractors.
